FAQ
When can I wash my vehicle after paintwork?
We recommend waiting 24 hours before washing your vehicle after new paintwork has been completed.
When can I have PPF (Paint Protection Film) or Ceramic Coating installed/ reapplied after paintwork?
We recommend waiting at least 30 days to have PPF or Ceramic Coating applied to fresh paintwork.
What is the best way to remove tree sap or bird droppings from my paint finish?
Tree sap: If you can get to it right away, start by washing with car wash soap and water.
If this does not remove it, use isopropyl alcohol. First dampen a microfiber towel with the alcohol (don’t pour directly on the paint). Gently rub (don’t scrub) the sap until it softens and lifts. Rinse with water and wipe clean with a separate towel.
Bird droppings: We recommend using a foaming glass cleaner(Sprayway is our brand of choice). Just spray it on the area, let it sit for about 60 seconds to soften up, and then remove with a microfiber towel. Make sure to wipe softly, do not scrub or you can scratch the surface.
How do you match the paint on my vehicle?
We start by getting the factory paint code located on your vehicle. We are able to look up the paint formula and make this color up on-site according to the manufacturer’s specifications. In some cases, when the vehicle has been repainted, custom-painted, or just faded over time, we use a paint camera (spectrophotometer) to get an exact reading of a specific panel to match.
How long does it take for my paint to cure?
All of our finished products are baked-on using infrared curing technology, allowing you to drive immediately following the repairs being completed.
